Once I saw the colors for the Color Throwdown Challenge this week I knew this would be a perfect time to use my new mermaid stamp set. The colors in the challenge were pink, mint, and aqua. I used Distress Inks to stamp up my images. Even though Distress Inks are known to not stamp with the best impression, I thought the colors were spot on. I used pink to do some ink blending and added sequins to give it some sparkle.

Here is day 2 of my Valentine’s Day card series. For day 2 I used this sweet little Sunny Studio stamp set called, Sending Love. I bought the little wax seal at Target in the dollar spot. You get 4 for a $1 in two different designs. I just think it added a nice little touch.

Here is day 1 of my Valentine’s Day card series. The colors aren’t really the first thing you think of when you think of Valentine’s, but I just had to use that patterned paper! The paper is from My Mind’s Eye called, Fancy That, which I purchased from Michaels months ago. I used the fairly new released stamp set from Avery Elle called, Swans.
