Hello! Today I am featuring some Jane Davenport goodies from Spellbinders. These products were so much fun to work with and very different than what I usually do. Sometimes it is so nice to get out of your comfort zone and try something new! You never know, it may turn into a new obsession.
The first card I made was with the GORGEOUS Tousled Face Die from the Artomology Collection. I made the alcohol ink backgrounds a little bit ago, but thought this orange one would look great with the die cut out of black card stock. That face detail is awesome! I added a couple flowers from my stash to add some interest.
The next card is using a die from the same collection called, Mums the Word. I had another alcohol ink background that was not so bright so I grabbed some pearlescent pink card stock and die cut out the mum to pair with the pink, blue, and purple colors in the background. The mum die has endless possibilities!
Finally I had the Palette Pastel in Birthday Suit from the Making Faces Collection. I LOVE make-up and this palette screamed at me as it has a good selection of skin tones and a pop of color to make up the faces. I paired it with the I Came, I Saw, I Contoured pack of face prints and I LOVE the way it turned out. The pack of faces measure 6″x9″ but as you can see, you can cut them down to fit an A2 size card. Love the soft looks you can create with the palette.
I do have a process video on how I created these cards. If you would like to see, you can click here. Direct links to the products I used are underlined above for easy reference. Just click and a new window will pop up.

Today I created a card using another new release from Your Next Stamp’s June release. This is the adorable Parrot-ise Stamp Set with the Tropical Island Patterned Paper. The theme of the blog hop is “Just for you,” so how fitting that one of their releases was a bird set! If you have been following me long enough, you know my love and obsession for birds!
I stamped my two little bird images onto some watercolor paper with Versa Fine Onyx Black Ink and colored them with my Zig Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I then used some stitch oval dies, oval scallop die, circle die, and scalloped circle die to cut some of the gorgeous patterned paper. I stamped my sentiment onto some yellow card stock with red ink. I added some white ribbon from my stash and popped my sentiment and birds up with some foam squares.
Once I was finished putting the card together I topped them off with the Tropical Summer Gumdrops which match the patterned paper perfectly!

It is time! Welcome to the YNS Blog Hop featuring the new release for June! I am really excited to showcase the products this month. In my Preview Day blog post I featured the Handyman stamp set to create a masculine card which is perfect for Father’s Day!
Today I am featuring one of my favorite sets, Box Full of Cuteness. Will you just look at those cute critters?! In addition to using the Box Full of Cuteness Stamp Set I also brought in the new die set called, Stick Frames.
To create this card I first stamped out the images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Spectrum Noir card stock. I used my Spectrum Noir Markers (colors listed below) to color the adorable images. I found this brick patterned paper in my stash and used the Stick Frame die to create a window. The Stick Frame dies are very versatile and can decorate your card in a variety of ways. For this card, I chose to use them as a window. I found some teal paper and wood grain paper in my stash to create the ground and the background in the window.
After coloring and die cutting all the images I adhered foam squares to the back of the sweet little animals for added dimension. I stamped my sentiment with some brown ink and cut a fish tail at the end. After placing my pieces down on the card, I felt it just needed a little extra something. I then took the paw print stamp and stamped some paw prints leading up to the sweet guinea pig in the box. I also die cut out a paw print from a die that goes great with this stamp set and placed that next to the window!
Spectrum Noir Colors:
- Box: TN7, TN5, TN3
- Dog: BG8, BG6, BG4, IG2, IG1
- Cat: GB7, GB4, GB2
- Guinea Pig: TN9, TN6, TN4, TN2

Hello! I am beyond thrilled to be part of the Your Next Stamp team for the month of June as a guest designer. It is an absolute honor that they reached out to me, and I was more than happy to say YES!
Today is preview day for the new release (which is adorable). I have been holding on to these products for weeks and so happy I finally get to share them with you throughout the month!
I created the card below using the new Handyman stamp set. It is great for the man in your life that is handy (or not! – scroll down to see stamp set sentiments).
For this card I stamped out the tool images onto some Spectrum Noir Cardstock and colored the images using my Spectrum Noir Makers (colors used are at the bottom). I cut the images out using the coordinating dies.
I had some patterned paper in my stash that paired well with the masculine theme of the stamp set. After adhering my paper down, I added a gold peel off to separate the two papers. The tool box diecut cuts out the center below the handle, but I took it a step further and used my craft knife to cut a slit to put the tools in the tool box. I then popped up everything using some foam squares to add dimension.
For my sentiment I used a brown ink to stamp on coordinating card stock and added a fish tail at the end. Clean and simple, but perfect for a birthday card or Father’s Day card.
To check out the rest of the preview, head over to the YNS Blog. Stay tuned because later on this evening the YNS blog hop begins. You will have a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the YNS store.
Spectrum Noir Colors:
- Reds: DR1, CR11, CR8
- Grays: IG6, IG4, IG2
- Orange: GB3, GB5, OR1
- Yellows: CT1, CT2, CT4
- Browns: TN8, TN4

Welcome to the Love From Lizi Blog Hop! The theme for this hop is spring, and what better way to showcase spring than with flowers and butterflies!
I used some patterned paper from Love From Lizi as well as the butterfly die that is part of the Love From Lizi March Kit. The stamp set is an add on for the March kit but is available for purchase separately.
I used a scallop die to trim off the bottom of my patterned paper and used purple ink from Love From Lizi to stamp my sentiment. I then used some glimmer paper to die cut the butterflies. The glimmer paper colors fit so well with the color of patterned paper. To top it off I added some light pink rhinestones from my stash.
If you would like to check out the quick process video on how I created this card, click here, but don’t forget to follow along on the blog hop to be entered in to win a free card kit or £20 (approx: $24 US dollars depending on the time of day as this figure fluctuates) to spend in the Love From Lizi shop!

Hello friends! I have been following the color throwdown challenge for a while now and each week I tell myself I am going to participate. Well the week comes and goes and I never do. Until now!
The colors for the challenge this week are cranberry, dark teal, peach, and kraft. For more details here is a link to their blog: Color Throwdown Blog. I have been dying to use this stamp set and die set, but just haven’t had any inspiration. This is another reason why I wanted to do the color throwdown challenge, because it challenges me. I use colors I may not pair together and it forces me to get out my various stamp sets that I haven’t touched.
I look forward to this weekly challenge so stay tuned!! Below is the link to the video that shows me creating this card. There you will find a link to all the products used.
Color Throwdown #416
So today is National Coffee Day! One of the best days ever for any coffee lover, really. I spent the day looking at lovely coffee themed cards, and then slapped myself and said, “Go make one!” So I put one together really quick to get it up in time and I really like how it turned out. I have to say I really like how my cards turn out when I make ’em quick and with limited supplies. I tend to think too much and then make cards more complicated than they need to be. When I don’t think and just do it, they are almost perfect!
Video link below to show how I made the card:

I used texture paste with some Distress Ink Ground Espresso to create the color of the chevron pattern. The color became darker as the texture paste dried.
Here is a close up of the cute Greeting Farm Stamps with the Altenew Coffee Talk sentiment.
