10 Cards – 1 Kit | Swell Christmas Holiday Kit | Simon Says Stamp | December 2016

Here is the totally awesome holiday card kit from Simon Says Stamp.  I really enjoyed working with this kit.  The vintage, retro feel this kit has really put me in the holiday spirit.

If you would like to know what came in the box, click here.

10 Cards 1 Kit + Ornament Tutorial | Hero Arts November 2016 Card Kit

Hey guys!  Here is the November 10 cards 1 kit from Hero Arts.  This kit is still available as of 11/25/16!!  Grab it before it sells out if you are interested.  The cards I created are fairly simple.  The kit came with a die where you can create an ornament.  In my YouTube video you can see my put together an ornament at the end.  Here is the link to my YouTube video: Process Video

Below are photos of each card I made.

10 Cards – 1 Kit | Hero Arts October Card Kit

Here is the October 2016 Hero Arts card kit… finally!  Sorry it was so late, but if you have the kit I hope you find some inspiration.  If you don’t have the kit I hope you find some inspiration to use what is in your stash to create some fun holiday cards.

10 Cards – 1 Kit | Thankful Hearts from Simon Says Stamp | November 2016

Hi all!  This pretty little card kit is the November card kit from Simon Says Stamp.  It came with a beautiful stamp set designed by Kristina Werner.  The stamp set has no images, only sentiments, so I depended solely on the patterned paper that came in the kit to create my designs.  Below you will find two links for the unboxing of this card kit and the process video for these cards.

10 Cards – 1 Kit | Hero Arts September Card Kit

Oh my goodness!  Sorry this is so late.  I wasn’t sure I was going to do a 10 cards – 1 kit video with this card kit, but went ahead and decided to after the release of their October card kit.  This kit is sold out.  It sold out within the first week of being released.  If you are interested in the Hero Arts October kit (which is beautiful), stop what you are doing and go here (going to insert link to card kit but they are already sold out!!  Whhaaaatt!!)  Well here is a link so you can check it out if you are curious!  Make sure to check out that price and all the stuff you get so you can catch the next one.  I believe they are released the first Monday of the month??  Mark your calendars!  Monthly Kit

Ok, well that is a bummer!  I so wanted to get this up before they sold out so you guys could grab it.  Anyway back to this kit… This kits selling point for me were the dies.  They are beautiful!  It came with 2 wreath dies and a floral die as well as coordinating dies that go with the stamp set.

Below is a link of the unboxing video if you are curious to see what Hero Arts boxes are all about and then there is a link to the video of me making all 10 of these cards.

Here are some closeups of all 10 cards I made.  I felt this card kit was heavily dependent on die cutting since the dies is what stole the show (my hand still hurts).  With that, I tried to keep the cards simple as to not overshadow the intricate dies.  Hope you are inspired to make those lovely fall cards!

10 Cards – 1 Kit | Nuts About You from Simon Says Stamp

This adorable card kit is the October card kit from Simon Says Stamp.  It was the perfect theme for October and gets you in the mood for fall!  Below you will find two links for the unboxing of this card kit and the process video for these cards.

Here are some closeups in the order that they appear in the video!

Love creating wreaths with the floral stamps from the stamp set!

Here I spritzed my stamps with water before stamping them to create a water color look.  LOVE that Simon Says Stamp Antique Gold Embossing Powder (not included in kit – but you should get it!!)

Squirrels!  I can’t say enough about the cute squirrel images.  Loving the pattern paper too!

My favorite Distress Ink right now is Wild Honey!  It is beautiful and perfect for fall themed cards.  Of course I had to do the glitter with adhesive trick as it creates such a beautiful addition to any card.  Check out the process video link above if you are not familiar with how to create this look.

Had to use some more of that lovely embossing powder to create a bunch of acorns on the bottom of this card.  Love the scripty “thank you” sentiment!

Kraft paper is the perfect fit for any fall themed card, and of course I had to make another wreath!

Busted out the Wild Honey Distress Ink to do some smooshing.  Love this look!

Embossed the squirrels because why not?!  This card incorporates a couple of the pattern papers that came with the kit.  Lawn Fawn knows what’s up when designing their pattern paper.  So cute!

Trying to make more shaker cards!

Love the look of clear embossing giving a card a tone on tone look.  Really lovely and classy!  This stamp set had great floral stamps in addition to the cute acorn stamps.

Woodland Fairies

I had a request to put together a card from the August 2016 Monthly Hero Arts Kit.  I love this kit and the beautiful fairies it comes with!  Although the stamp set and kit are not available, I do think that with all the fairy stamps and woodland dies that have been recently released, you could come up with a similar look.

Here is my video showing the card making process: Fairy Card

Below is a bonus card I made using the same supplies from the kit.  I added gemstones and used more of the stamps from the stamp set to create a floral oval frame.

Below are some close-ups of both cards

Simon Says Stamp October 2016 Card Kit – Nuts About You

I will be working on my 10 cards for this kit and hopefully have it up in my YouTube channel this weekend!  Any links for the products or kit (if still available) will be posted in the description box on my YouTube channel.

** COMING UP!***

My fall series!  As I was getting together what stamps I wanted to use last night, it looks like my mini fall series may not be so mini after all.  I will be making 12 fall themed cards with some awesome stamp sets I have purchased over the past couple months.  I know we haven’t even reached October, but I wanted to do these series early just in case you wanted to make some cards for friends and family.

After my fall series concludes in October I am going to jump right on in to my Holiday Card Series.  I cannot wait to bust out my Christmas stamps!  It has been hard not to get them out now and start making Christmas cards.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by and I hope you are having a wonderful week!
