It’s that time again! Yay! The Spring and Summer Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop is in full swing and I made two types of cards to share with you. I will have all the details and links below if you are interested in participating, but hurry it ends soon! I will also have a video link below too!
Here are a couple cards I made using the Honey Bee Frappe Shake die set. This die set has been out forever and I finally had a chance to play with it and boy was it a lot of fun! My favorite part was adding the whip cream with my snow marker!
Links to all products I used will be in the coordinating video that will be linked below!
This next card I made used more Honey Bee stamps that fit perfectly with this hop! I colored these images using my Prima Colored Pencils. I absolutely love the bold lines in this stamp set. There will be a video coming out soon showing how I made this card. Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel (link below)!

I’m so excited to be participating in the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! The theme is spring and of course coffee, tea, or cocoa! I recently purchased the Art Impressions Hot Java Mama stamp set and just had to bust it out for this hop. I used some spring flower patterned paper to do some paper piecing and used bright colors that remind me of spring! I used my Zig markers to color the coffee crazed lady and topped her cup and coffee pot off with glossy accents.
Make sure to check out Jamie’s shop, Not2Shabby, for some awesome coffee themed stamps. She is a super sponsor and is giving away a $25 gift certificate to her shop. So today is National Coffee Day! One of the best days ever for any coffee lover, really. I spent the day looking at lovely coffee themed cards, and then slapped myself and said, “Go make one!” So I put one together really quick to get it up in time and I really like how it turned out. I have to say I really like how my cards turn out when I make ’em quick and with limited supplies. I tend to think too much and then make cards more complicated than they need to be. When I don’t think and just do it, they are almost perfect!

I used texture paste with some Distress Ink Ground Espresso to create the color of the chevron pattern. The color became darker as the texture paste dried.
