Coffee Lovers Bloghop is in full swing! I used the recently released MFT Coffee Date and designed a card using some very traditional Christmas colors. I love this stamp set because there is no coloring involved!

Here is day 18 of my holiday card series. I used amazing The Ton stamp sets, Holiday Bows and Grand Bows. These of course are layering stamps and if you have the patience, they come out beautifully! I stuck to traditional Christmas colors, red and green. If you would like to see the process video and how to line them up, click here. There you will find a list of supplies.
Card 19 is a one layer card which is starting to become my favorite type of card! Making a card with no adhesive?! Sign me up! I used Snowy Sayings by Cas-ual Fridays and some Memento Inks to create the cluster of snowflakes. My favorite color combo for Christmas is silver and blue. Loved the way this simple card turned out. If you would like to see the process video, click here. Links to supplies are there as well.
Card 20 was made using MFT Oh Christmas Trees. I love how these cards turned out and by a sweet accident, they are great masculine cards. I used silver and gold embossing powder on black card stock giving the card a different look. I don’t think black card stock is a color people tend to grab when making a Christmas card, but I love it! If you would like to see the process video, click here. Supplies will be linked in the video description.
Hey guys! So I am lumping 3 days of my holiday card series into one post today to make things a little easier and to catch you guys up!
For day 15 I used a Unity Stamp Co. stamp called, Love Bug Christmas. I water colored the image using Distress Inks and I really like the way it turned out. Since I did a previous holiday card with a red truck, I decided to paint this one yellow.

On to day 16! I used another Sunny Studio stamp set called Merry Sentiments. This was another layering stamp set and if you know me, you know I love my layered stamps! If you would like to see the process video, click here. As always you will find a list of supplies there too.
Finally day 17… For this card I used Hero Arts Santa’s Elves. This stamp set is sooooo cute! I colored them with my Prismacolors and used the MFT Peekaboo die to make it appear they are behind the card peeking out. Love this card. If you want to see the process video, click here. Enjoy!
Welcome to day 1 of my holiday card series. Today I used the Merry Everything stamp set from My Favorite Things. I absolutely love those plump reindeer and the jolly Santa. I used my Zig Clean Color markers to color in the images and my Distress Inks to create the night sky.
Christmas cards aren’t complete without sparkle of course! I added glitter with my Spectrum Noir clear glitter pen to the snow, gifts, and parts of the reindeer and Santa.

Process Video – Day 1
Stay tuned for day 2 coming soon! Also look for my 12 Days of Christmas tags!
Hello friends! I have been following the color throwdown challenge for a while now and each week I tell myself I am going to participate. Well the week comes and goes and I never do. Until now!
The colors for the challenge this week are cranberry, dark teal, peach, and kraft. For more details here is a link to their blog: Color Throwdown Blog. I have been dying to use this stamp set and die set, but just haven’t had any inspiration. This is another reason why I wanted to do the color throwdown challenge, because it challenges me. I use colors I may not pair together and it forces me to get out my various stamp sets that I haven’t touched.
I look forward to this weekly challenge so stay tuned!! Below is the link to the video that shows me creating this card. There you will find a link to all the products used.
Color Throwdown #416
Welcome to day 5 in my fall card series. Today I wanted to do more water coloring and I just love the way the colors turned out. I used Distress Inks in the color Wild Honey, Carved Pumpkin, Mowed Lawn, Ripe Persimmon, and Walnut Stain for the splatter. I’m really enjoying the Canson XL Water Color Paper as I have only used it a couple other times. It is amazing how much easier things are to work with when you have the right supplies.
I heat embossed the leaf images from the MFT Geometric Greenery Stamp Set with white embossing powder. It really pops with the fall colors. I popped up my “thanks” sentiment on some fun foam to add some dimension. The SSS Antique Gold Embossing Powder is just beautiful and adds a special touch to my sentiment.

Fall Series Day 5
I was so excited to bust out this stamp set. Fall is my favorite time of year and nothing says fall like scarecrows and pumpkins! This is a great stamp set from My Favorite Things called Fall Friends.
To create the watercolor look I used Distress Inks which are my go to for anything watercolor. The inks are so versatile!! I did some sloppy water coloring which is becoming my new obsession. It is so freeing and seems to always turn out a lot better than if I was careful and stayed in the lines.
Below are some close-ups of the card. If you want to see the card come together in action, click this link to watch the video: Fall Friends
The fence die is actually a Halloween fence die from MFT. I think it works great on this card! I love the fact that is is a little wonky and crooked in some places.
Love the shine the embossing powder gives to the images adding a little character.
I rarely do the inside of my cards, but really would like to start adding that extra touch. I had an extra sunflower that I adhered in the corner of the inside of the card.
