FREE Jane Davenport Wonderland StoryTime Paint Pens with $75+ order

080720-StoryTime-GWP-Social-1200x1200

Hello Crafty Friends!

Spellbinders is running a current promotion where you can get a FREE set of Jane Davenport’s Wonderland StoryTime Paint Pens with a $75+ purchase.  I made a quick card using a couple of the colors from the set and the current Spellbinders monthly card kit.

I took a piece of black striped patterned paper and used the Mad Hatter (lime green) color to add some color.  I did the same with a strip of the same patterned paper, but used the Queen of Hearts (pink) color.  That pink color is my favorite!  I also added a touch of gold mirror card stock peeking from behind the pink to tie in with the sentiment.

I then added some ephemera from the current card kit to finish off the card.  Quick and simple!  The markers added a quick pop of color totally changing the look of the card.

So a little about these markers! They are water and fade proof, works on most surfaces, and have a matte, opaque finish.  You get 5 colors in bold and fine tip.  Colors include Mad Hatter (lime green), Pool of Tears (teal), Alice Blue (blue), Cheshire Cat (purple), and Queen of Hearts (pink).

You can find the pens here and remember they are free with a $75+ purchase.  Have fin shopping!

Not 2 Shabby

Not 2 Shabby Spring is in the Air

20200318_133017

Hello! Today I am featuring this adorable new stamp set from Not 2 Shabby called Spring is in the Air.

I just loved coloring these images and there is nothing sweeter than this chick and bunny.  I used my Copic markers to color these images and did a little ink blending for the background using Distress Oxide in Squeezed Lemonade.  For the sentiment I used Birch Press hello die and cut it out with some glitter foam from Queen & Co.

Jamie, over at the Not 2 Shabby shop, has just released her spring/summer collection and has it at a discounted price if you get the bundle.  Don’t forget to use coupon code CRAZYPAPERCHICK to save 10%.  Supplies are listed below.

*WINNER HAS BEEN CHOSEN, NOTIFIED, AND HAS CLAIMED PRIZE*

Thank you to all that entered!

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I have the pleasure of participating in Spellbinders March Clubs Blog Hop.  I created a card using the March Card Kit of the Month, Feeling Hoppy.  Spellbinders kits are jammed packed with adorable goodies, and this month was no exception.  It is full of sweet Easter and spring themed items for your card making needs.  You can find their kits here.

Now, if you watch my 5 or 10 card videos each month showcasing the current Spellbinders card kit, you know that I have an obsession with ephemera.  The Spellbinders kits are full of glorious ephemera and I just can’t help myself, and typically make all my cards with the ephemera.  For today’s card I thought I would incorporate more of the stamp set (and a couple ephemera pieces – I just couldn’t help myself!).  To see how I created this card, you can check out the video below, but don’t forget to hop along to win!

Blog Hops, Christmas, scrapping for less

Scrapping for Less | November 2019 Flavor of the Month Card Kit | A Vintage Christmas

75642444_10157947659178615_7319330562575958016_o

Hello!  I am guest designing this month for Scrapping for Less and I am happy to show you the November Flavor of the Month card kit, A Vintage Christmas.

Below are two pictures of two varieties of the kit you can choose from.  There is the Banana Split and Double Dip Sundae.

Today I am showcasing the Banana Split kit.  I made 5 cards using many elements that came in the kit.  Although I just made 5 cards, the kit has plenty to make many more.

20191125_230725

The first card I made using these adorable bell stamps from Scrapping for Less.  So easy to color and they make a nice focal point on your card.

20191125_230822

I’m all about ephemera, so for my second card I had to use the ephemera pieces that came in the kit.  I used the largest button and accented it with some red twine from the kit.

20191126_144407

For my third card I used the stamp set from Sunny Studio.  I colored the house to coordinate with the colors on the pattern paper.

20191125_230815

On my fourth card I used the Noel die.  To get this die in your kit, you will need to order the banana split option.  I cut it out from gold mirror card stock from my stash to make it pop and paired it with the lovely pattern paper in the kit!  It is a really pretty die!

20191125_230828

Finally, my favorite card was made using this sweet little Santa stamp from Your Next Stamp.  This Santa was an awesome image to color.

Blog Hops, Not 2 Shabby

Not 2 Shabby & Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop | Digital Stamp | Not2Shabby Better with a Friend

Collab Graphic N2S & CLP (3)

20191118_202555

Hello!  Welcome to my blog where I have the privilege of participating in a collaboration blog hop between Not2Shabby and Coffee Loving Cardmakers.

Today I am featuring a digital stamp from the Not2Shabby Shop called, Better with a Friend.  I printed the image out on my laser printer onto some Bristol Vellum card stock.  I printed the image at 26% scale and I think it came out the perfect size.

I then colored the image using my PrismaColors and added a little highlight with a white jelly roll pen.  I don’t usually gravitate towards digital stamps, but I have to say this one was a breeze to print and color.  I love how Jamie drew this image and I’m safe to bet most people would think this is a stamped image.

So now to the fun part!  The giveaway!!  I have included links and details of the giveaway below.  There is also a process video on my YouTube channel of how I put this card together.  Enjoy and good luck!
